Is SheJumps just for girls?

We welcome all women and girls (transgender and cisgender) as well as non-binary people who identify with the women’s community.

Is there an age limit?

Absolutely not! Our events begin at age 6 for Wild Skills and at age 8 for Jr. Ski Patrol.

What kind of events do you do?

Our mission is to increase participation of women and girls in outdoor activities, so we host a number of events that help us accomplish our mission: mountain biking, indoor climbing, hiking, skiing and snowboarding, avalanche education, navigation, shelter building, Leave No Trace, First Aid, SUP, and much more!

Do you have anything if I am not a “rah-rah” girl?

We think we get what you mean—SheJumps means a lot of different things for lots of different folks. Some people prefer to wear tutus and superhero capes, while others don’t. That’s fine! Our events simply supportive and encouraging, so show up as YOU!

I want to be a “Jumper!” How do I sign up?

Our jumper program has been a huge success, but due to the volume of applications we have received, we are no longer able to accept ‘every’ Jumper application. With that said, you’re welcome to submit your story or a story about someone else.

I want to volunteer with SheJumps! How do I reach out to?

Check out our team page to get in contact with the team leader in your region. Or fill out the form on our volunteer page.

Bummer! SheJumps isn’t in my area.

We are working to expand our programming around the country, but unfortunately we don’t have the resources to be in all states just yet. With that said, you can support our organization in the following ways: Host a SheJumps fundraiser Follow us on Instagram & Facebook Go outside with your friends and celebrate adventure! You can apply to be an ambassador - applications are live twice a year in some locations. Join our newsletter to the first to find out! Donate to SheJumps

I have a SheJumps event idea that I’d like to coordinate. Who do I reach out to?

You can find your regional contact on our Regional Volunteer page Please keep in mind that we are not able to accomplish all event ideas.

Do you have to be a member?

You do not need to be a member to join SheJumps events. We welcome all women and girls (transgender and cisgender) as well as non-binary people who identify with the women’s community.

Can my boyfriend/partner/husband come and get discount?

Unless otherwise stated, our events are open to all women and girls (transgender and cisgender) as well as non-binary people who identify with the women’s community. Certain events are family-oriented where everyone is encouraged to attend.

Are you a skiing organization for women?

Our co-founders all met through skiing, but it’s certainly not our primary focus! We love the snow and it’s how we got our start, but SheJumps hosts lots of non-skiing events throughout the year.

Will I get to meet Lynsey Dyer at an event?

Hmm, maybe if you’re lucky! Lynsey runs a tight schedule, but tries to attend any and all SheJumps events she can. If you’re in the Jackson Hole area, your chances are high!

I signed up to volunteer but never heard anything?

We apologize for that! Sometimes the interest in our events and programs is more than we have the bandwidth to manage. With that said, please be patient with our volunteer team when you reach out as they are, well, volunteers!

What is the difference between SheJumps volunteer roles?

Find a description of each role below. Generally, a host is a volunteer that is responsible for a single event, an Ambassador/Wild Skills Coordinator is someone who signs a yearlong contract for a given city, a Regional Coordinator is responsible for managing and running events on a state level, a Regional Director is responsible for overseeing a specific Region.
